Equitant is a experimental and techno producer from Texas. Formerly a bass player and guitarist for Absu he did an about face in musical style in 1993 and began a quest to make electronic music as Equitant. This is so familiar to me as I left Death Metal in '97 and went deep into Industrial. Life is indeed strange and interesting all at once.

The songs are all remixes of his tracks including "A Woman" (Leggo Mix), "Elemente" (various),"Last Night in my Body" (DJ Jakub Mix)(Pisces Mix) and finally "Through Man Made Eyes" (Equitant Mix). I'm not familiar with this style of music and enjoyed listening to the different remixes. My fave is "Elemente")(Raul Parra Mix) because of it's tasty EBM goodness and style. All in all a good release and something to preview on his Myspace page to listen for yourself. I believe he has newer releases out at this time and is quite prolific as a producer in this genre.
