"Blitz", the new masterpiece by Hamburg, Germany's Industrial pioneers KMFDM is a 25 year extravaganza for the band. Since 1984 Sascha Konietzko and Co. have been delivering a cohesion of techno thrash and industrial politicism that melds together wonderfully. "KMFDM" for those who don’t know, stands for "Kein Mehrheit Fur Die Mitleid", a German term for "No Pity for the Majority". This album further demonstrates their bands meaning. Clocking in at just over 52 minutes and 11 tracks, there is a strong force of awesome tunes, and you can tell that they are making the music the way they want it done. The lyrics are a mix between male and female, sarcasm and seriousness, English, German, and Russian. The sound is tightly composed of  killer synth, electric guitar, and devious drum programming. My favorites include "Davai", "Potz Blitz", "People Of The Lie", a refreshing anti-religious metaphor that I completely agree with, "Being Boiled" (A Cover of The Human Leagues track), and "Bitches", a dark sarcasm laced song claiming all of the fans have been fooled, and that the band is just in the biz for the money. "Bitches" includes some acoustic guitar, an interesting effect for these guys. Even if you have never heard KMFDM (I feel sorry for you), Grab this CD. You will not be disappointed. All in all, "Blitz" is a great mix of old school Industrial, Dance floor Techno, Thrash, and Pop. I give it 9/10! Try to catch them live as well. They are on a European tour hitting sots in Spain, Russia, Austria, Germany, and more.
